Ltd., a subsidiary of the Shanker Group, has stepped up its presence in the commercial electric vehicle (EV) sector by launching a new lineup of 14 to 19-seater electric vans at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025. The company, already a recognized player in the automotive market, is now offering advanced commercial EVs under renowned international brands such as Farizon, Chery Wanda, and King Long to cater to the rapidly growing demand for sustainable public transport solutions in Nepal.

Showcasing at Stall D-16, Hall D, Jagdamba Motors introduced versatile vehicles designed to serve a variety of sectors including tourism, staff transport, and intercity mobility. At the forefront was the Farizon 19-seater electric van, developed by Farizon—a premium brand under Geely Automobiles, China’s leading auto group. Built on a pure electric platform, the van offers exceptional performance with a 170 kW motor, 82.88 kWh battery, and a rugged body designed to handle Nepal’s challenging terrain. Features include disc brakes on all wheels, a 360° camera, ADAS, and a spacious premium seating layout, making it ideal for high-mileage and safety-sensitive operations. The van is priced at Rs. 76,90,000, offering competitive value backed by a 4-year/7 lakh km battery warranty and a 5-year/2 lakh km motor warranty.

Adding to its lineup, Jagdamba Motors also showcased the Chery Wanda 14-seater microbus, a collaborative product of two of China’s top auto brands, Chery and Wanda. Compact yet powerful, this microbus is tailored for city commuting, offering a CATL 53.58 kWh battery, 300 km NEDC range, and 180 mm ground clearance. It is attractively priced at Rs. 56.5 lakh, with robust warranty coverage including 5 years or 3 lakh km on the battery and 5 years or 2 lakh km on the motor. It provides an efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solution for daily urban transport needs.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Raju Bhetwaal, Senior Vice President of Jagdamba Motors, emphasized the company’s long-term vision: “Jagdamba Motors proudly participates in the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 to showcase our commercial EV offerings. We believe the electric ecosystem in Nepal must be inclusive, practical, and tailored for all kinds of drivers—from city microbuses to long-route passenger vans.” He further added that such diverse commercial offerings are key to building a resilient EV infrastructure in the country.

With Nepal's EV adoption accelerating beyond the private segment, Jagdamba Motors’ expansion into the commercial electric category reflects both a market need and an environmental commitment. The vehicles on display not only highlight performance and durability but also come with generous after-sales support, offering peace of mind to fleet operators and entrepreneurs alike. Special event-exclusive booking offers were also announced, giving visitors a chance to secure their vehicles with early-bird benefits.
