KATHMANDU — IIMS College has officially inaugurated ‘IIMS 2.0’, a next-generation academic campus at Bhagwatibahal, Naxal, aiming to transform Nepal’s higher education through modern infrastructure, international partnerships, and industry-driven learning.
Founded in 2010, IIMS College has evolved into a forward-looking educational institution offering globally aligned undergraduate programs supported by strong international collaboration. The new campus inauguration featured senior leadership from Taylor’s University, Malaysia—ranked #253 in the QS World University Rankings and among the world’s top 1% universities. Their presence reflected a deepening academic partnership between Nepal and Malaysia in fostering world-class education.
The event commenced with a traditional welcome followed by a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony. Delegates, faculty members, students, media representatives, and industry partners toured the new facilities, including smart classrooms, advanced laboratories, innovation hubs, collaboration zones, hospitality training suites, and experiential learning spaces such as Taylor’s Café and Aranya Boutique Hotel.
IIMS stated that the 2.0 campus will intensify its commitment to academic excellence by integrating global teaching methodologies with local opportunities. The college emphasized that the infrastructure is designed not only for classroom learning but also to support leadership development, entrepreneurship, creativity, and student engagement in real-world industries.
